Green Reasons to Visit us
Located in a breathtaking clifftop location, Woodhill Park has magnificent views of the coastline and surrounding countryside. It's the ideal spot to sit back, relax and take in the inspiring natural landscape.
- Guest Charter. Our Guest Charter suggests simple ways to reduce the environmental impact of holidaying at Woodhill. It Includes tips on waste reduction, public transport and respecting nature.
- Nature inspired activities. During selected peak Norfolk school holiday weeks, we run family fun events that encourages adults and children to get hands on with the environment. Get involved in; wildlife walks, moth trapping, bird watching and more. All of these activities demonstrate the importance of our local ecosystems.
- Green Technology & thinking. Solar water heating, eco flush toilets and low energy light bulbs are just some of the ways we reduce our energy consumption. You can also sleep easy knowing the Parks Green Team meet regularly to tackle sustainability issues across every area of the parks.
- Give the car a rest. Woodhill Park has a bus service stopping right outside the gate. You can also rent a bike from Huff & Puff Cycle Hire. If walking is more your thing, the Coastal Path passes right through the park.
- Green vehicles. Woodhill Park uses battery-powered vehicles on site, as well as a low emissions ride-on mower. There are also EV charging stations.
- Waste. You will find we have separate bins throughout the park for general, recyclable and food waste. Helping us to separate your waste allows our waste carrier to achieve even higher rates of recycling.
- Buy Local. We stock many locally produced goods in our shop.
- Dog Wash. Give your companion a good clean in our solar heated dog wash facility!
